Skidplates are permanently mounted to the nose and tail and drastically enhance the longevity of your deck. Available in black or white and sold as a pair. Set of two skidplates (also known as tail-guards or deck-protectors) Long lasting, high-density material Including mounting hardware Replaceable after worn down. For mounting you will need a 6mm metal or wood drill (not included) Instructions* : Hold the skidplates in place by hand or with a wood clamp and mark the holes with a pencil or fine-liner. Pre-drill the holes with a thin drill bit Use a 6mm metal or wood drill bit to make the final holes for the mounting rivets Remove wood chips and grip tape from the holes and push the rivets through the top of the board. Mount the skidplates with a manual (philips) screwdriver. Keep alternating until both of the bolts are securely tightened. Do not use an electric screwdriver to tighten the skidplates. *Wear protective gloves, safety glasses, safety mask and work in a well ventilated place. Keep in mind that most longboards contain fiberglass and other composites that should be avoided to touch, inhale or get in the eyes.
